We are delighted Tangmere has retained its AA+ grade rating confirming our consistent and continuing commitment to Food Safety, Quality and Integrity within our business operations.
These BRC Food Safety audits are undertaken by independent companies certificated by the BRC to verify that our controls, systems and commitment is being achieved throughout the year. ‘Unannounced audits’ mean that an auditor can turn up at our site at any time on any day for an audit lasting at least two days.
Commenting on the result, Kim Norcross, Packhouse Technical Manager, said:
“We choose this unannounced option to show that we operate to the highest standards every day of the year and not just on one prearranged date. This AA+ grade is a great achievement and recognises the contribution and dedication of all of our staff.”
