The free event was organised to reward employees for all their hard work, with a fun and relaxing day to spend with their colleagues and families.
The day was packed with a wide range of fun activities for all ages such as inflatable games, face painting, and funfair rides.
There were also interactive attractions for guests to take part in, including: traditional hook-a-duck side stall, circus skills, and surfing simulator; perfect for those who wanted to test their abilities.
Live music provided a ‘chill out’ zone for guests to sit back and enjoy an atmosphere of summer vibes throughout the afternoon.
To keep everyone fed and hydrated, delicious pizza, a hog roast, Dutch BBQ, and drinks were on offer, not to mention the freshly spun candy floss and ice creams!
Dick Houweling, Tangmere Airfield Nurseries’ Managing Director, shared why it was important for Tangmere to organise a summer staff event:
“After two long and challenging years, we felt it was important to acknowledge the hard work our employees made throughout the pandemic and continue to do so on a daily basis. This was an opportunity for Tangmere to say a big ‘thank you’ to all staff for their support and service.
Spending quality time with family and colleagues (out of work) is an essential part of a good work-life balance, so what better way to help our staff achieve this balance than organising a Family Fun Day event.”
